Things getting better?
So recently I've noticed an influx in the amount of views and comments on my youtube channel, I'm guessing it's because of my recent Battle for the Grid videos that I've been uploading.

I honestly like to think it's not just that and that people genuinely like the content I produce, although I have been putting in a lot more effort into it. I am still trying to get my youtube partnership back since it was taken away from me at the start of last year.
Essentially youtube have changed who is eligible for partnership by incorporating new rules regarding their monetization program. Before this anyone could be eligible but now only those who can regularly make youtube money will be considered.
You need 1000 subscribers and over 4000 "watch" hours to be considered under the new rules, basically meaning in total people have to watch your videos for 4000 hours in the last 12 months.
Seems easy right?
Well to bigger content creators who easily fetch 5 figure views per video it is, but for the little guy? It's not.
Right now I'm on something like 44000 watch minutes which equates to around 733 hours...yeah I have a pretty long way to go!
Of course I'll keep trying since I love making videos and entertaining people, there's not many things in this life I'm good at but that is one of them.
So all in all things are looking up for me, potential new job around the corner (but not guaranteed) and hopefully I'll be able to fund my other film projects that I'd like to get off the ground.
